We are the largest patron of Irish-medium schools at both primary and secondary level. We’re also a main provider of multi-denominational schools. Over 17,000 students attend our schools across 23 counties.
We want Irish-medium education to be available to all.

We have brought together parent-led campaigns and stakeholders from across the country with the aim of establishing new gaelcholáistí in areas of high demand. There is no Irish-medium provision at second level in any of the areas we are campaigning in despite large numbers attending gaelscoileanna.
